Get Involved!

We challenge the injustices experienced by women living in Glasgow who are seeking asylum or who have been through the asylum process. We are dedicated to empowering women asylum seekers, refugees and those who have been through the asylum process by promoting independence, inclusion and advocating for social justice and equal access to services.

Our core belief is that human rights are unconditional and that women seeking protection here should be treated with dignity and respect.

We are currently located at the Kinning Park Complex. Our drop-in sessions run every Monday from 12 to 5.  If you would like to get involved please send us an e-mail to unitywomensproject@gmail.com and let us know what experience you have and how you could contribute to our cause.

i am very interested in volunteering with Unity Women, I have a keen interest in human rights and it would be an honour for me to be able to help at the centre. I am single mother living in southside of glasgow and have volunteered with oxfam and quarriers and various other agencies in Glasgow but am very interested in supporting women in any way i can. I am a great listener and am compassionate and trustworthy and can do a very relaxing head message.
If there is any way in which i could help please get in touch
    thank you Charlene Oneil
